“Dominga" is created from mixed media including acrylic paint and paper towels, inspired by a certain presidential figure tossing paper towels at Puerto Ricans gathered after a devastating hurricane. Dominga Cruz Becerril rescued the fallen flag at the Ponce Massacre and devoted her life to the cause of Puerto Rican independence.
